This year’s contest has now ended. The submissions were, as always, spectacular! #PeepYourScience 2022 saw Peeps draped in lab coats, chopped up into starfish, coated in eyeshadow, assembled into rockets, shaped like a shark, and stuffed into space suits—all in the name of peepsearch. This year’s entries for the World’s Finest Science-Themed Peeps Diorama Contest presented the breadth of marshmallow-based innovation and discovery with creative and crafty reimaginings of science and engineering.

Normally we open our Peeps contest in mid-February. However, we’re sorry to say that we’ll be giving it a miss this year.
Peeps dioramas are an art form as old as time, more or less, but have been missing one thing: a focus on science. Until the dawn of the #PeepYourScience contest.
In 2019, The Open Notebook‘s first annual World’s Finest Science-Themed Peeps Diorama Contest yielded marshmallowy tableaux of sweet discoveries, peepstaking field work, sticky scientific mysteries, history of science, s’more history of science….
